ToconfiguretheIPPipeinTCP/UDPClientmode:
1. IntheIPPipegroup,fromtheModedropdownlist,selectCLIENT.
2. FromtheProtocoldropdownlist,selectthedesiredprotocol,eitherTCPorUDP.
3. IntheServerIPAddressfield,typetheaddressofthefaren
dTCPUDPserver.
4. IntheServerPortfield,typetheportvalueusedbythefarendTCP/UDPServer.
5. Incasetheprimaryserverisunavailable,intheSecondaryIPAddressfieldandintheSecondaryPort
field,typetheIPaddressandportnumber,respectively,ofthealter
nateTCP/UDPserver.
6. FromtheConnectionActivationdropdownlist,selectaconnectionmethod.Optionsare:
AlwaysOn
CRThreecarriagereturnsmustbereceivedfromtheBluetoothsidebeforeTCP/UDPconnectionis
establishedtotheremoteserver.
7. FromtheConnectionTerminationdropdownlistselectadisconnectmethodfortheIPpipe.Options
are:
AlwaysConnected
SequenceAsequenceofcharactersreceivedfromtheBluetoothsideusedtodisconnecttheIPpipe
TimeoutTheIPpipeconnectiondisconnectsiftheconfiguredtimerexpireswithnodatasentor
received
ClickSubmit.AfteryouarefinishedconfiguringtheBluetoothfeature,SaveandRestart.
Therouterimmediatelyconnectstothelocalbluetoothdevice.IfsuccessfultheStatusfielddisplays
Connected.IfIPPipeisco
nfiguredforSERVER,theIPconnectionisinitiatedbythefarendTCP/UDPclient.If
ModeissettoClient,therouterinitiatesconnectionsforthefarendTCP/UDPserverbasedontheconfigured
ConnectionActivationconditionsaremet.
